Privacy and Data Deletion Requests
At ElevateOS, we understand the importance of your personal data and are committed to ensuring its protection and privacy. If you decide that you would like to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data, we're here to help guide you through the process.
Requesting Data Deletion
To request the deletion of your ElevateOS account and associated personal data, please follow these steps:
- Email hello@elevateos.com from the email address registered to your account. You can prepare an email draft below; opening a draft does not send a request.
- Verification: For your security, we may contact you to verify your identity and confirm your deletion request. This is to ensure that we are deleting the data of the requester and protecting against unauthorized requests.
What Happens Next
Once we receive your request, we will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and process it within 30 days. We will confirm deletion in writing or explain any lawful retention or verification requirement.
Upon receiving and verifying your request, we will proceed to delete your account and all associated personal data from our systems. This includes your:
- Name
- Email Address
- Mailing Address
- Phone Number
- Payment Method Details
- Device IDs
Data Retention
Please note that while we will delete your personal data from our active databases, some data may be retained in our backup systems for a period of up to 90 days due to technical constraints. Additionally, we are required by law to retain certain transactional records, including financial data, for a period of time as dictated by applicable tax and commerce laws. These records will be maintained in a secure manner and will not be used for any other purposes. Further Questions?
