Switching guide
Switching from Venn: keep the community, add the operating system.
Venn is strong on community programming. ElevateOS runs community programming through Resivents and adds the door, the packages, work orders, inspections, amenities, staffed services and a revenue share, in one branded app connected to your PMS and hardware.
What stays. What changes.
The cutover keeps the systems and equipment that still work, then replaces the resident and staff experience around them.
What stays
your community calendar, your groups, your resident ambassadors.
What changes
engagement becomes one module in a platform that also runs operations, access and income.
Plan for this
The one thing to settle before launch.
the groups. Rebuild interest groups in ElevateOS in week three with the same names, so residents land in familiar places on day one.
Four weeks, no forklift.
A typical cutover runs about a month and nothing goes dark. Your onboarding plan will be specific to your buildings; this is the shape.
Week 1, connect the PMS.
Residents and leases sync from Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, ResMan, AppFolio or Rent Manager. Residents notice nothing yet.
Week 2, connect the hardware.
Locks, intercoms, lockers and thermostats connect to ElevateOS. The old app works in parallel. No lock is reprogrammed.
Week 3, brand and configure.
The home screen, amenities, fees, services catalog and Resivents calendar are set up. Staff get Staff App and training.
Week 4, activate.
Invitation emails go out, residents activate and keys appear on phones. The old app sunsets after an overlap you choose.
You keep: the hardware, the PMS, the staff and the exported history. You change: one app, one login and one invoice.
